Bank Iowa Introducing Newton Community Bank President

Bank Iowa today announced the appointment of Thad Roffey as community bank president for the bank’s Newton location.

Roffey, a University of Iowa graduate, is an experienced commercial lender, having served in various business lending and service roles for more than 25 years throughout eastern and central Iowa.

“We are excited to have Thad join our team,” said James Feudner, Bank Iowa regional bank president. “It’s clear he brings a lot of heart to his work and that he loves to be involved in the community.”

In addition to serving bank clients, Roffey regularly volunteers with various community organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and several youth sports teams.

“Bank Iowa’s values drew me to this opportunity,” said Roffey. “When I learned that ‘Be people-centered’ was a mantra for the Bank Iowa team, I knew this was the right fit. I’m looking forward to working alongside the people of Newton to reach their individual goals, as well as the goals of the community.”
