The Shenandoah Community Food Pantry sponsored a USDA Farmers to Families Food Box distribution event in the Shenandoah Walmart parking lot. Bank Iowa's Paulette Marsh helped with the food drive for the Shenandoah Food Pantry – over 400 boxes of food were given away to families in need. Each box contains about 31 pounds of food including dairy products, protein, fruits and vegetables, as well as a gallon milk.
