Community First

Bank Iowa puts our communities first. The average Bank Iowa team member donates more than 40 hours annually to local organizations. In addition to time, we give hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to local initiatives. We invest in the people and places that strengthen our communities.

20+ Communities

Bank Iowa proudly serves more than 20 communities across the state, combining local insight with statewide strength.

12,000+ Volunteer Hours

Our team has dedicated over 12,000 hours to volunteering, reflecting our deep commitment to supporting Iowa communities.

Bank Iowa Community Involvement

We believe communities are strongest when we all stand together — and that includes us. As a community bank supporting more than 20 Iowa communities, we don’t take this belief lightly. When our communities thrive, we thrive. So, if we've played even a small part in nurturing or growing the places we call home, we consider that success.

But we’re not done yet. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built — one that’s rooted in service and giving back. Every year, our team members contribute over 12,000 volunteer hours to organizations making a tangible difference — from education and health to economic development and children’s causes. The possibilities are limitless.

Making our communities a better place

At our core, we know our success is inseparable from the strength of the communities we serve. By empowering local decision-making, we ensure our lenders act with the best interests of their neighbors at heart. While we leverage the resources and technology of a larger institution, we remain firmly rooted in our family-owned, rural values. Because at Bank Iowa, the community isn’t just where we live; it’s who we are. Through ongoing support — whether it's time, financial assistance or sponsorships — we aim to transform lives and keep growing together.

The Community Reinvestment Act was created to encourage financial institutions to meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate. Bank Iowa is pleased to provide information for public inspection under the Community Reinvestment Act.
