"A Humbling and Wonderful Experience"

On September 25th, Megan Brown accompanied her dad, Ron Gibson, on an Honor Flight to Washington, DC. Ron is a Marine veteran who served two tours of duty in Vietnam and earned the Purple Heart for being wounded while serving. The trip included 90 veterans, each with a guardian. Heartland Honor Flight staff also joined and were there to ensure these veterans had the best experience and care for the day. Megan said, "It was a humbling and wonderful experience!"
