Heartland Days in New Hampton

Bank Iowa New Hampton dove headfirst to celebrate the city's Heartland Days festivities. The team started the week off by walking in the parade. Later in the week, Sydney Franzen and Emily Schwickerath participated in Bacon Fest, where they were given 30 pounds of bacon and asked to devise a fun way to serve it. Sydney created maple bacon cookie dough and smoked all 30 pounds of bacon. The team didn't bring home the trophy but had fun along the way with the community.
